Introducing MEG (Miles Equine Gizmo)
Revolutionizing the Way You Practice Equine Veterinarian Medicine
Dr. Marc Miles has nearly 30 years of experience as an equine veterinarian. During the first 24 years he often became frustrated while trying to hold a horse still during procedures. He was constantly thinking of how he could position and keep a horse still while assuring everyone's safety in the process. This led to the development of Miles Equine Gizmo, a revolutionary mobile equine assistant.
Five years on the job and nearly 5,000 horses with the first prototype led to a wealth of ideas for significant improvements. Six months of fine tuning those ideas with computer aided drafting produced the ultimate equine vet assistant.
MEG is unique for many reasons. Where else have you seen the employment of hydraulics to do the heavy work quietly and with no frightening force on the horse? Absolutely nothing that requires so little effort on your part allows you to practice with such increased productivity and efficiency.
How much time and money do we all have invested in our education, equipment, and practice ownership? The number of risks we take each day while practicing borders on insanity. Why not spend a little bit more to protect those investments? Meg allows you to concentrate on the task instead of the moving target. For the first time you will enjoy some tasks you used to dread. Your clients will be even more impressed with the versatility, mobility, ease and safety with which their horse is handled.
